Vista l'armoniosa morbidezza con cui il frutto marasca è richiamato dal suo polposo e speziato sapore, non si direbbe campione di massima potenza e somma concentrazione. In realtà il suo estratto è davvero maestoso, ma ogni nota è così bilanciata nel suo gusto fra morbidezza acidità e tannico spessore, che dell'uva si gode il massimo livello di suadenza e maturazione.
